Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

Axis Operating Systems LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the exclusive owner and rights holder of all software, materials, designs, and documentation distributed under the Axis brand. By using any Axis application, website, or resource, you (“User”) agree to comply with this Policy and all applicable intellectual property laws.

1. Ownership and Restrictions

• All software, code, documentation, content, trademarks, and trade dress provided by Axis Operating Systems LLC remain our exclusive property and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• No rights or licenses are granted except as expressly provided in your end-user license agreement. You may not reproduce, copy, adapt, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly allowed.
• Users may not use Axis products or services to violate or infringe the intellectual property rights of any person or entity. Any such use is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination of your license.

2. User Responsibility & No Liability

• Axis is a local software application. We do not host, transmit, store, review, or moderate any user content, files, or data. You are solely responsible for your own content, actions, and compliance with all laws.
• We have no obligation or ability to monitor user activity, content, or files, and no liability for any alleged or actual infringement or unlawful activity by users.
• By using Axis, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Axis Operating Systems LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of Axis, including any alleged intellectual property infringement by you or any user of your device.

3. Reporting Alleged Infringement

If you believe Axis Operating Systems LLC, or any materials distributed by us, infringe your copyright or intellectual property, you may submit a written notice as required by law. Your notice must strictly comply with applicable legal requirements, including:

• Clear identification of the work allegedly infringed.
• Clear identification and location of the allegedly infringing material.
• Your name, address, telephone, and email address.
• A statement of your good faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your claim is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized agent.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

4. Review and Removal

• Upon receipt of a valid legal notice, we may, at our sole discretion and without liability, disable, restrict, or remove access to the identified materials.
• We are under no obligation to respond to incomplete, inaccurate, or noncompliant notices.
• We reserve the right to challenge or ignore any claim we believe is invalid, fraudulent, or abusive. You agree that you are responsible for all costs, attorney fees, and damages if you knowingly make a false or misleading claim.

5. Counter-Notice

If you believe your material was wrongfully removed, you may submit a counter-notice in accordance with applicable law. Your counter-notice must include all required statements and a signature. We reserve all rights under law and may restore content at our sole discretion.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

We may terminate or restrict user access in our sole discretion in the event of multiple valid and unrebutted legal complaints, or as required by law.

• We reserve the right to modify or update this Policy at any time without notice.
• All disputes are governed exclusively by the laws of Texas, USA. Venue and jurisdiction for all claims shall be exclusively in Texas.
