Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
Effective Date: September 7, 2025
Axis Operating Systems LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides (a) Axis AI Business / Automation Audit, (b) Axis EHR (local-only), and (c) Axis Voice & SMS AI and other automation services, including Axis-managed automations that may run on infrastructure we operate (for example, n8n). We own all right, title, and interest in our brand, software, automation configurations, documentation, websites, and related materials (collectively, the “Software” or “Materials”). By using any Axis application or resource, you (“User”) agree to this Policy and all applicable IP laws.
1. Our Intellectual Property
- All Software, code, automation workflows (including hosted n8n or similar flows), designs, text, images, videos, documentation, logos, trademarks, and trade dress provided by Axis are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and related laws.
- The Software is licensed, not sold. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in your Terms of Service, proposal, or license. You may not copy, adapt, distribute, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works of our Software, hosted automations, or Materials without our prior written consent.
- Custom automations and configurations we design and host for you (for example, in n8n) remain Axis intellectual property unless your written agreement says otherwise. You receive a license to use those automations for your internal business use, not to resell or share as a competing product.
2. Trademark Policy & Brand Use
- The names “Axis,” “Axis Operating Systems,” “Axis EHR,” “Axis Receptionist,” and related logos are trademarks of Axis Operating Systems LLC.
- You may not use our marks or any confusingly similar marks in product names, domains, ads, or marketing without prior written consent. Do not alter, distort, or combine our marks with other marks.
- Third-party names and logos (e.g., Google, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, Twilio, OpenAI, Retell, Gemini) referenced in our Materials are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only—no endorsement is implied.
3. User Content, Ownership & Responsibility
- For Axis EHR (local-only), records are stored on your own devices. We do not host, transmit, or store user-generated content (“User Content”) from the local EHR; you are the sole custodian.
- For Axis Voice & SMS AI and Axis-managed automations, your business data may pass through systems we configure or host (for example, n8n flows, Google Workspace, Twilio, and approved AI providers). We act as a service provider/processor for that data, but we do not claim ownership of your underlying records or business information.
- You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the User Content and business data you create, process, or manage with the Software and automations, and that your use does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, rights of publicity, or privacy).
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axis Operating Systems LLC from claims arising out of your User Content, your prompts or instructions, or your misuse of the Software and AI/automation services.
4. AI, Automations & Generated Outputs
This section applies to our AI Voice/SMS automation services, Axis-managed automations (including those we host), and any AI-related recommendations from the Axis AI Business / Automation Audit.
- Your Inputs: Scripts, prompts, FAQs, pricing, workflows, media, and contact lists you provide remain yours. You grant Axis a limited, revocable license to use those inputs solely to design, operate, and maintain your automations and AI configurations.
- Outputs: Text, audio, or other content generated for your business is provided “as-is.” We do not claim ownership of your unique outputs, but you are responsible for reviewing those outputs before use and ensuring they are lawful, non-infringing, and appropriate for your domain.
- Audit Deliverables: Diagrams, strategy notes, and system designs we create as part of an AI Business / Automation Audit are Axis Materials. You receive a license to use them internally to operate and improve your business, but you may not resell or publish them as a competing productized framework without our written permission.
- No Training on Your Business Data: We do not use your private business data or call content to train public, general-purpose models. Any configuration-tuning is limited to your environment for quality and safety.
- Third-Party IP: You must not prompt or enable the AI to reproduce copyrighted works without permission, imitate protected voices or likenesses without consent, or violate publicity/privacy rights. You are responsible for how prompts and outputs are used in your marketing, operations, and communications.
- No Professional Advice: AI outputs and automation flows are tools, not professional advice. They do not replace medical, legal, billing, or emergency decision-making. You must keep humans in the loop for high-risk, clinical, legal, or safety-critical use cases.
5. Client Materials & Publicity
- You retain ownership of your brand assets (names, logos, copy, scripts, and domain names). You grant us a limited license to use them solely to deliver the Software, AI Services, and managed automations described in your agreement.
- We will not use your name or logo for marketing or case studies without your prior written consent (opt-in only). You may revoke marketing consent at any time going forward.
6. Examples, Templates, & SDKs
- Any example code, templates, or SDKs we publish are licensed as stated in their headers or repository files. If no license is specified, they are provided for internal evaluation only and may not be redistributed or used to build commercial competitors.
- Examples are provided without warranty and may reference third-party libraries subject to their own licenses. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those third-party terms.
7. DMCA Notice (Reporting Infringement)
Although we do not host local EHR User Content, we do operate websites and may host certain Materials and demos. If you believe our own Materials (for example, website images, docs, or demo content) infringe your copyright, send a notice to our Designated Agent:

9. Repeat-Infringer Policy
Where legally required and appropriate, we may limit or terminate access to our websites or services for users who are found to be repeat infringers of our Materials or who use Axis tools to facilitate clear, documented infringement. Because Axis EHR is local-only, we cannot remove content from your device.

- Uploading or supplying copyrighted content to AI Services without authorization.
- Using the AI or automations to impersonate brands or individuals, generate deceptive endorsements, or mislead users about who is speaking.
